Fábio Apolinário

Pastor of Student and College Ministries

Fábio Apolinário was born and raised in Brazil. Graduated in Marketing and Advertising in his home country and worked in the business world before moving to the United States. He was an atheist until 2011, when he had a powerful encounter with God’s peace in a very troubled season of his life. Since then, he has been pursuing intimacy with the Holy Spirit and the knowledge of God’s word. This hunger led him to leave his business career behind and move to the United States to pursue Bible education. He has graduated from Pastoral Care at Victory College and is now finishing his Masters in Biblical Literature at ORU. Fábio has been a Youth Pastor for the last 5 years and is passionate about helping the youth find their purpose and trusting that God’s way is the only way to follow. Fábio married his wife, Jessica, in 2015 and is a father of twin daughters, Bella and Sophia.

DISCIPLE FAST TRACK II / NEW TESTAMENT

Rev. Dr. Greg Tolle

This adaptation of the original, best-selling Disciple Bible Study is ideal for busy people who want to fit a comprehensive Bible study into their schedule. Classes cover the entire Bible—from Genesis to Revelation—but in a shorter time.

VERSE BY VERSE STUDY ON THE BOOK OF REVELATION

Bill Westmoreland

Hope Classroom

Usually, when people mention the book of Revelation, they immediately think about judgment. And without a doubt, much judgment occurs in the book. However, Revelation does not end with judgment. Instead, it provides a striking bookend for the entire Bible, which begins in Paradise and ends in Paradise. More than judgment on the evildoers, Revelation is a book about hope for the faithful in Christ.

WOMEN'S STUDY GROUP

Lori McMurphy

Upper Room

Ladies, join the Women’s Wednesday Night Study for When I Lay My Isaac Down: Unshakable Faith in Unthinkable Circumstances by Carol Kent. There is a book but you do not need it for the class.

Carol says, “Sometimes we make sacrifices to help us get ahead, to allow us more time with family, or because we believe in the cause. And then there are sacrifices in which we have no say - “Isaac experiences” as in Genesis 22 - thrust upon us without warning or survival instructions.” We will learn that there is hope in hard times and that God is there in the valleys. The past almost two years has been incredibly hard, where would we be without Jesus?

INSIGHTS ON COMMUNION

Dr. Gary Harber

Dining Hall

Communion has been a major practice in the Christian Church for more than 2,000 years. You have most likely received the Communion elements more times than you can count. But do you really know what it means? Is it just a religious ritual, or is there a greater spiritual significance to partaking of the bread and the juice? In this inspirational, 5-part series, with introductions filmed in the historic Upper Room in Jerusalem, Rick Renner expounds on the inseparable link between components of covenant and Communion. He will take you on a gospel-by-gospel study of the first Communion Jesus served to His disciples, revealing what Christ meant when He said, “This do in remembrance of Me.” You’ll also learn how the Lord’s Table is a source of supernatural provision.

This class has a study guide. Please click here to order.
