Informational Meetings & Church Conferences

The Admin Council will be hosting three Informational/Q&A meetings leading up to a church-wide vote scheduled for August 24, 2022. These meetings will all be the same – you are welcome to attend all three, but it is not necessary. We ask that questions be submitted in writing.

 

The first Informational/Q&A meeting hosted by the Admin Council is scheduled for Thursday, August 11 at 6:30pm. The next meeting is Sunday, August 14 right after 3rd service. All meetings will be held in the Sanctuary.

 

Wednesday, August 17 at 6:30pm is a Church Conference led by our District Superintendent, Rev. Connie Gibson, and the Conference Director of Transitional Ministries, Dr. Tish Malloy. It will be informational and there will be an opportunity to submit written questions to Dr. Malloy and Rev. Gibson. We encourage all members to attend.

 

The Admin Council will host its final Informational/Q&A meeting on Sunday, August 21 after 3rd service.

 

Wednesday, August 24 at 6:30pm we will have the Church Conference for the final vote. Only members of St. James Church may vote, and members must be here in person to vote. You must also present identification to vote. If you are not a member you are still welcome to come to the Conference and observe.
